This will be the second year that we will do an article about the Springfield Sportsman Show. If you want to read our article about last years show click here. This is not an endorsement of any kind of the companies below. We just want to show you what we saw that was interesting to us.
Bow Tech had a real nice tracter trailer. The trailer had an indoor archery range. A good place to test shoot a bow but there was long lines.
Backwoods Whitetail outfitter is from Illinois. The guy with the rack is a good friend John (LJ). We have been hunting together for 15 + years but never in Illinois.
Backwoods Whitetail Outfitters.

This is a one of those products that you say "Why didn't I come up with this". This is a tool that will pick up things that you drop out of your tree stand.

Don Cota, the owner of Kingdom Knife, says "This knife will stay sharper longer than any other knife on the market". They will also sharpen and send back your knife for free.

You can't go to one of these shows without stopping at an Africa safaris booth. As a bow hunter this is one of my dream hunts. Who is daddies little girl?

The Seneca Chief is a whitetail guide out of upstate New York. Nice deer and a low cost for a New York hunt.

The Kettle Bottom is an Outdoor TV show on NESN. It is cool to meet those people that are on TV.

The True Quite tree stand is an all plastic tree stand. There is no metal noises. I have been asking why this has not been on the market before this.

This is one of my dream hunts, a moose hunt. Back Country Outfitters is a moose outfitter out of Newfoundland Canada.

Myron's 20 Gauge is a wild game seasoning. They had some tasty samples there to try. Wild game is not like beef, you can't just throw it on the grill.

Tri county outdoors is a whitetail outfitter

I really like this display of wild turkeys. They had the four sub species in United States.

We go from turkeys to deer. The Big Bucks Club was there. They had a lot of BIG Bucks. I hunt in the same place where many of the deer below were killed. Most of the deer at the show were killed in the north east part of the country.

I enjoyrd the show though I thought that last years was better. Going to this kind of show every year will get you thinking about the up coming season. It can be a good place to get hunting and fishing products at a good price. Just know the costs of products before you buy them.
Good hunting
