Review of Bowshield
I have just received the Bowshield from Pole Mountain. Bowshield is a system that allows you to carry equipment and your bow all in one package. This is a great way to get your bow and equipment into the woods or to the shooting range.
It
has four big pockets on either end of the bow carrier.
They are big enough to carry items like your tree steps,
calls, binoculars, and hunting license.
They have zippers that hold your belongings securely.
The pockets also allow easy access to the equipment.
This system will cover the limbs, cams, and cables. The strap allows you to carry your bow and equipment over your shoulder. When cutting and running I use a box call to get those birds worked up. In the past, I had to put my bow on the ground to use a box call. Now I will be able to move faster and call more often because I will not have to stop and put down then pick it up. This will also keep my bow safe from being stepped on.
I have been using the Bowshield at some of the
local shoots. It
protects
the bow, cams, cables, string, and limbs of the bow.
I also keep my binoculars, spare release, tools, food and
water in one place. It
also makes it easier on those long walks between targets.
This is a good system for carrying your bow to your hunting spot. It takes a little effort to get your bow out of the bow carrier so it is not something that I would be using if I’m stocking after game. If you need a way to easily carry you bow and equipment to your spot, this is a great way for the cost.
The cost is 50 dollars.
